Making the decision to lose weight was easy for me, but how to do it was another thing. Because I'm not a person that typically enjoys exercising, I didn't push myself at all. But with Marcus of MTH fitness, I have the personal assistance I need to keep me encouraged, and the motivation to push me beyond my fitness limits. Along with exercising I was set in the habit of keeping food journals to follow my eating habits and ensure I stay towards my goals. As an active person who's involved herself in group exercise classes for years, there's always the question of what type of trainer you'll be standing in front of for the duration of the class. Are they going to be able to challenge me? Will they have the knowledge to teach me beyond what I already know? Etc. Etc.
Marcus was one of the best group instructors I've had in a while. It was really refreshing. Even though the class ranged in athletic ability, Marcus was able to pin point everyone's strengths and motivate each of us individually while keeping us working out together as a group. He was also creative in his routines and introduced moves I never thought to incorporate into my workouts. He went beyond putting us through workout routines by spending time explaining food labels and going over food choices to better improve our health. I really miss the 1st BootCamp session, I just wish I could have committed to the 2nd half!

Having previously never worked out with a personal trainer for a prolonged period, I was amazed at the quick results that I achieved with Marcus. In 6 weeks I lost 5lbs and 3.5 inches in my thighs, while reducing my body fat percentage! This was thanks to a combination of watching what I ate, working out with Marcus twice a week and doing cardio on my own when we didn't meet. I joined Marcus's boot camp class on a whim in January of this year. I was tired of my unhealthy weight gain over the years and was ready to take control and finally do something about it. As a teacher and trainer, Marcus is very involved in each person's progress, he checks in and offers tips and helpful hints regularly. Thanks to his guidance, over the course of 12 weeks I have lost 12.4 lbs and 6 inches off my waist and I feel much healthier and happier! I will definitely be back for another round!
